Historic Depot and Railroad Museum
This museum features an extensive model train layout plus numerous rare model trains. You can learn about Decatur’s railroad history. Once Covid-19 is gone, stop by the museum and see this in person - and watch trains go while standing on the outdoor viewing platform.

The Old State Bank
Completed in 1833, the Old State Bank serves as a monument to Decatur’s past and the development of banking in Alabama. You can now take a personal guided tour at the museum, without leaving your house!

Delano Park 
Named for Franklin Delano Roosevelt’s mother this beautifully restored park was donated to the city of Albany in 1887, as part of  a  master plan to reconstitute the city after the lingering ravages of the Civil War.
